Cold-rolled steel sheets are manufactured at the production enterprises through cold re-rolling of the pieces of hot-rolled steel plates. Before that, the sheets should pass additional chemical treatment increasing technical properties of the finished product.

After cold rolling the sheets are subjected to heat treatment to get the required mechanical properties. The main advantage of cold-rolled sheets over hot-rolled plates is high final strength.

Such sheets are used in many industrial spheres: in machine building, manufacture of household appliances, as the main billets for production of profiles by punching and bending, and for building materials manufacture. Cold-rolled sheets are the main material in manufacture of galvanized sheet with polymeric coating, profiled flooring, dewatering systems, shaped sheet and roofing units.
